Introduction

At elecal-AS, we manufacture drum heaters for the prevention of heat loss and heating of 25, 50, 100 and 200 litre drums.

Application

The main function of the drum heaters is to prevent and compensate for heat losses undergone by certain fluids during the production process.

It is essential that the fluid or product stored in the drum does not freeze and/or change its viscosity or any of its properties, it also prevents these changes affecting the container.

BFV drum heaters

The BFV heater range consists of ready to install heating systems.

Their careful design, robust and easy to handle construction means they can be easily fitted to the drum.

The BFV drum heaters are especially suitable for surface heating as they provide a uniform temperature and, thanks to our wide range of thermostats and temperature control and regulation panels, they prevent the deterioration of temperature sensitive products due to overheating.

Types of fastener

We can fit different types of fasteners or connections depending on the application.

It is very important when purchasing a heating blanket or band to specify the most suitable type of fastener for you, according to your project requirements.

Control and regulation

All our heating blankets have a thermostat of one type or another.

At elecal-AS, we offer different control and regulation solutions:

• Economic analogue thermostat AT056:
  • Temperature range: 0-90ºC
  • Voltage: 230V
  • Maximum load current: 15 A
  • On/Off differential: 4ºC
  • Sensor: Bulb and capillary sensing - 1 metre.

• Digital programmable thermostat DP25A:
  • Control panels prepared to work outdoor, from -20 ºC to +140 ºC.
  • Case with transparent window: IP-65
  • Connection entrances: PG-9
  • Relay output: 25 A
  • Allows different types of sensors: PTC, PT100, etc.
  • Voltage: 230 V.
